I live 4 blocks from town. Lol.. been here for 14 years.
This is a wonderful town with a big heart that values diversity much more than the stereotype associated with small towns in more rural areas. We take care of our own, and we are generous to others. Our schools are excellent, and we have a bright economic future. We are close to both a highly regarded community college and a university in easy driving distance. I was born here and still live here with my job I travel from the Canadian border to the almost Oregon see a lot of towns a d meet new people,but sedro Woolley is home and always will be I couldn't imagine living anywhere eles
As a resident of another state, I am saddened to see that a restaurant in your city discriminates. I would guess that the owner of the restaurant would not want to discriminate against any other people because of race, or sexual orientation. However, the restaurant is discriminating against law-enforcement. I am proud to see that the sheriffs department says they will still, of course, support this restaurant in case they need help in any way.
