Yeah I’m an employee at Starbucks and getting any information regarding my short term disability claim has been AWFUL. My examiner and everyone who works at Sedgwick has been so rude every time I call to try and get any information. I’m already going thru such a hard time and speaking to Sedgwick makes this even more hard - when all I want is answers.
Absolutely pathetic company. Do not expect anything good when dealing with them.
We are 6 months into a claim with Sedgwick initiated by At&t. It is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any business. Allison Weaver our claims manager choses not to do her job, reply to emails, respond to a call and is negligent in every way. Her boss Jackie Ngo is equally incompetent. We can not get anyone to respond to any questions or updates, answer a phone or reply to an email. It is unbelievable. Beware this is not an honest or transparent company in any way shape or form.
Three injuries with two different fractures from work. But Sedgwick is only covering one fracture. They refuse to cover the other two injuries. My case manager is absolutely hateful and disrespectful. The best thing a client that’s suffering from the discrimination from this organization is to get an attorney. Sedgwick loves to discriminate and they are biased.
Finest example of a dishonest, incompetent, and careless corporate operation. To any credible business utilizing this firm to handle refund claims-DON'T. The company is nothing more than a front suggesting there is an actual chance you will get a refund or a claim paid for your issue. Scary times, indeed. Like many similar businesses, they are in the business of taking money, not returning it.
