Sedgwick is the third party for Avis and budget I suggest Avis and budget get a new third party. They are unresponsive, unreliable, unprofessional and lack the common courtesy to simply read. Someone hit me in the front end driving an Avis and budget rental and it took over 30 days to even get someone to respond. I've had to file an auto insurance claim through them when a delivery driver smashed the rear of my car at a grocery store. Hopefully I never have to do anything with this company again. Nobody here seems to know how to respond to a text, voicemail, or email. I've had to be in contact with Steve Fontaine about a claim. My experience with Sedgwick has been a nightmare. Communication has been slow, inconsistent, and indirect. I often had to follow up multiple times to receive basic updates on my claim. Most of my questions were either not directly answered or were delayed for long periods of time. There has also been a lack of transparency in how decisions are made, as requests for documentation and clarification regarding the claim determination were not fully addressed.
