They aren't on the injures workers side They are there to save the comp you work for money. They will just keep denying you to the cows come home..even when 2 surgeons recommend surgery. They play with your money and dont pay you some weeks, your told well its not late untill they are 2 weeks behind. My bill collectors dont want to hear nothing. They will ruin your credit not being paid. Good luck

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS. They are terrible!!! I work for a doctors office and one of our patients have to use Sedgwick for his workers comp case. We can NEVER get in touch with anyone at Sedgwick. I have an email address and phone number for one of the claims adjusters - HE NEVER RESPONDS TO ANYTHING. I also have the email address and phone number for that adjusters "Senior Supervisor" and HE ALSO NEVER RESPONDS TO ANYTHING. You try to hit "0" on their phone system to get... read more

I was told for 6 weeks I cant get paid, Randomly called saying i can, 4 months later I am kicked off saying I dont qualify. Keep in mind i was told a police change was made to allow me to get paid, then i was told nothing changed and i cant get paid. Sedgwick and Absence One are the bain of my existence and are designed for you to pay them, never use it, and if you do get coverage, they make your life a living hell.

Told would receive a call within 72 hours to address my claim. No one called during that time. Called Sedgewick 4 times today and received no answers and kept getting hung up on. This is a third party administrator in my case for home depot.
