Sedgwick is a partner of Biotech company Amgen and they take care of amgen's leave of absence claims. I took 2 months off to take care of my seriously sick mom out of the states, this company denied my claim and did not response to my appeal and the over 100 requests of a phone call. Now we don't have money to continue her treatment, and cannot return to work because sedgwick is blocking me from returning to work. Please, any company, if you do care about your employees, don't use this company for any of your business.
My claim read like a series of unfortunate events, with Sedgwick playing the role of the villain. My claim was due to an exposure at the hospital where I work, which tienes into a violent allergic reaction to the treatment. First, I had an adjuster whom I tried calling and left messages for 5 times over 2 days, only to call the supervisor and find out this person was on vacation and left no info that they were gone, when they'd be returning, or who to contact. Doctors note says, " Dwayne Can not feel his legs they are numb from the waist down." ****Denied***** pass insurance on a $1000 ski pass I never used. Denied, do I have to die to get the money back for the skinpass insurance. 3 of my clients said they were Denied as well. One woman was pregnant , one man had knee surgery before the ski season started, the other there father died no way to drive to mountains to ski.
