Security Screen Masters installed a front door for my residence in 2018. It is great! SO, I ordered a new rear security screen door on Aug 3 of 2020. Brett measured and created a document detailing the order and installation. It is now October 23. No contact, No telephone response. Unfortunately I paid by check (cashed long ago) and only recently discovered that others had similar problems. Beating a dead horse will not solve the problem. Any suggestions from other aggrieved parties? Sorry, could not leave less than 1 star
We gave Brett B*****, one of the company owners, a check for almost $6,000 for a 50% deposit for work to be done in "the spring". Brett sent us a letter telling us that COVID nixed that plan, though we saw dozens of other contractors doing outside work in our community. In April Brett told us he'd start by "mid May", and in mid May told us he'd start "in June", and in June told us he'd start "between July 14th and the end of the month". Stay away. I signed a contract with them on May 14, and eight months later, they have still not done the job. I had to take them to small claims court to try to get my money back. They rarely answer their phone, and rarely return phone calls. Instead of setting up a scheduled time, they give a two hour window. If they do show up, it is at the very end of it. They have made two major errors so far, and not one word of apology.
I recently purchased screens on all my windows and patio door from Security Screen Masters. I'm very pleased with the screens and the workmanship. The workers are very courteous and did not leave any clean up after completion. However, there was a question regarding the contract agreement. I contacted the Manager, Brett B*****, and he assured me that the matter will be immediately resolved to my satisfaction.
