Don’t go with this plan, in the 2 months I’ve used the plan I have had numerous prescriptions not covered, my copays are astronomical and I guess they know more than my specialists at Rochester Mayo, telling me I have to use cheaper meds first.Even tried to get me to take a cheaper medication even though I told them I was allergic to it. I’ve now went out of remission because of loss of prescriptions. If I had read the reviews of their prescriptions plan I would have run away!! Avoid at all costs! The drug and diagnostic coverage of security health is terrible and getting worse! If you have any say in your health insurance avoid avoid avoid!
Security Health Plan switching to Optum rx has been horrible since 1/1/26. Three prescriptions now that I have been using for years, they wont approve until they get a prior auth and then they may or may not approve. These are meds that have been working great for me for years. Its all about the money and not about helping the patient.
