BEWARE of this company. Do not sign up with them. As others have mentioned, many customers were previously with Stanley Security and had no issues. Once they transferred over to Securitas, it became a full on legal scam. Here is our family’s experience the Securitas: We pay our monthly fee which includes additional coverage for any part malfunctions. We have never missed a payment. They company traps you in a contract and every time you move the contract restarts for 5 years
Do not sign up with this company, I’ve been trying to cancel for 3 months… I’m still waiting for someone to call me back to confirm. You wait on hold for ever.. I was on hold this morning for 30 mins and then randomly it hung up on me. I’ve emailed them with no response… don’t waste your time and energy dealing with this company. Horrible.
This company wasn’t too bad when it was Stanley Security. But since it’s become Securitas, it’s been unreliable. My video doorbell hasn’t been working for a while. I have tried to contact the company MANY times. Nothing. I have spent hours on hold with the 1-800 number, and each time I continually get the message that I am next in line and then after being on hold for about an hour and a half, it just disconnects.
