We had a crashed laptop and no backup--the user had given their backup drive away. I read some reviews and selected Secure Data Inc. From the very beginning, they were helpful, fast to respond, and easy to work with. Franklin Wright emailed and called me frequently during the process, and we quickly had a resolution that could work with our budget, and more importantly, complete recovery of our data. I highly recommend them.
RecommendedI am in a band called COIN. Half of our forthcoming album was on my "indestructible" external HD. Last week, I realized the drive wouldn't mount, and I panicked & furiously plugged the drive into every USB port available. Once I realized my drive was hopelessly corrupt, I aimlessly searched "HD repair" on google. I clicked the first business, having no idea what I was doing. I am glad I did. Secure Data recovered almost my entire drive. They saved my album. Their work is priceless.
We lost three weeks of pictures and video of a trip to Africa due to accidental deletion on an iPhone 5s. After trying three recovery programs on our PC, I contacted SDR. Rob Anderson responded quickly and outlined the recovery process, including information on the chances of recovery from an iPhone. Even though the story has an unhappy ending (data not recoverable), it was worth the $ to try. Rob kept me updated on the status and provided great customer service.
My hard drive with original RAW files used for copyrighted finals crashed. Plus other critical info files on the drive that I wouldn't have been able to recreate. Dropped the drive off, analysis was quick, and getting back 98% of my files was great! The few corrupted were easily reproduced. Brett was great to work with and kept me informed on the quoting and processing. I've already recommended to fellow photogs the service.
I want to take a moment to praise the customer service of Chris McMacken. When I first called Secure Data Recovery, I was totally stressed. I had lost my data, had an unfamiliar new phone, and could not locate the drop off location for Secure Data Recovery. Chris got on his map app and successfully guided me to the location. 4 years ago I had an external drive crash with pictures and videos from my oldest child's first year on it! I was devastated!! I thought I would never get those memories back.
