We stayed at Secrets on the Lake last year and had a wonderful experience, which is exactly why we booked our wedding anniversary there again through Booking.com. Our booking was confirmed, but the following day I received a phone call from reception advising that they had no availability. They initially suggested that we move between different tree houses each day, which wasn't suitable for a wedding anniversary. This seriously is one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in the world and we have travelled everywhere! It’s my second time 1st ,12 years ago and if you want somewhere special, Secrets will not disappoint. The attention to detail in the rooms, at the restaurant, the food,the grounds and the staff could not be faulted. Special mention to Cecile ( who’s worked there 10 years and is still so lovely and enthusiastic) George the owner was so welcoming and friendly. GO IF YOU CAN
