Loved this place! Great location & peaceful. Friendly staff & excellent level of attention to detail for the cabins, wood carvings & blacksmithing.
We stayed at Secrets on the Lake in Montville for one night and were genuinely disappointed that we couldn’t stay longer. On arrival, we were greeted by George, one of the owners, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Learning that he has been running the property for over 40 years was impressive, and his passion for the place shines through in every detail. Had the most amazing escape at Secrets on the Lake at Montville! The photos didn’t do it justice!! Not only the rooms well appointed and comfortable the handiwork and craftsmanship of the rooms and buildings were works and art!
We had a girlie weekend at Secrets on the Lake. It was very tranquil to be able to go for a walk on the premises, eat in the restaurant and the tree houses were just beautifully designed. Very much enjoyed the weekend and will defiantly be back. Thanks Debbie Firth
