Had an excellent few drinks here while staying at Hotel St. Francis. Conor behind the bar fixed me up a sage smoked basil martini. An amazing and unusual drink.
They weren't serving food/we only got cocktails during our visit so review is purely for that- phenomenal bartender Hector creates magical cocktails that aren't just a drink but an entire experience. Beyond glad we stumbled upon this little hotel bar, i will be dreaming about the house smoked margarita for the rest of my life- or at least until I can return to the area in which case this will be my first stop. Do not miss a chance at world renowned cocktail.
This is the place to go if you want to experience alchemy. You may have to wait, but your patience will be rewarded with passion and expertise. I was lucky enough to be served by Hector, the wizard behind the cocktail menu and a devotee to the craft. He was more than happy to discuss his process while tending a full bar all by himself and singlehandedly providing a unique, exciting and polished experience for everyone, no compromises and no holds barred.
