We rented this for a one-night weekend getaway for our staff and all of our children. The communication was TERRIBLE. We paid for a hosted pizza party to be notified <24 hours prior that they couldn’t find a chef to accommodate. I then had to scramble to find another option to feed 30 people! I had to keep emailing because we had NO instructions on how to get in, when to arrive, how many actual bedrooms, and the property management company kept apologizing for the owners complete lack of communication. It's a decent manison but in an industrial area. The views from the backside of the house are good. The management is bad and often non-existent. Due to the trouble with management before arrival, during our visit, and afterwards, stay away. The chef was a bright spot in stay. There are so many excellent lodging choices in Alaska, I recommend searching further. The house is for sale and I think the owners/management want out of it as they don't run it well at all.
Excellent company and takes amazing care of their guests. Facilities are fantastic. Plenty to do, great for business events or families.
So many things about this place are beautiful, magical, and amazing. We planned our wedding here and had about 20 of our family, guests stay here. Worked with their staff out of season, in October. The ceremony went smooth and guests had a mostly enjoyable experiences. The caterer and bartender had plenty of space to prep and serve. The ceremony was outdoors and guests had a great view!
