JUST TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE, they say they buy computers,well I will tell you not to believe what you hear. When you take it there it works fine, but they will tell you before they give you any money they have to test it ,then after maybe 1,2,or 3 days of waiting they tell you "oh yeah there is a problem with it" And no money for you! The people that work there are just plain rude and speak to you as though you are a moron. I will NEVER and I mean NEVER go there or recommend anyone go there.
unsatisfactory Their website says they "buy, sell, trade, or repair" I went in asking how much for just a hd replacement for a laptop installed, and the guy mumbled what sound like 250 at me. Ridiculous. Then I asked them if they do in fact buy or trade laptops and the guy said no. I was out of there fast.
Excellent! Second Source has been incredibly helpful and friendly. A broken computer can cause a lot of stress, but they really relieve the stress by being kind and helpful. They make sure the job gets done whatever it takes.
lots of cheap parts you can't find second hand I've never taken anything here to get repaired, but I have gone there to shop, they have lots of cheap parts and are very helpful. I didn't know the name of the part I needed, but explained it to them and they found it for me right away. It was cheap too, cheaper than Best Buy would have been. They seem really knowledgable.
Good alternative to a big chain store They specialize in reselling and fixing personal computers, but they are heavy on PCs - not as much mac stuff. It has been hit or miss if I got a good staff member to assist me. Some were dismissive if I did not use the "right" words, but otheres were quite helpful. They have another location in Newark that seems to have a little bit more selection.
Place for hard to find computer parts I was able to find a battery for my older laptop with ease. The store had a large assortment of hard to find parts. The prices for the parts were reasonable.
