Amazing place!!! Love volunteering there, great way to give back to the community!
On Saturday, several of my church members (Insoul) participated as volunteers at a Food-Giveaway at the 2nd Harvest Food Bank. We were beyond impressed with the services provided by the Deep Creek Road facility. The staff members were highly experienced & organized professionals. This place is a fantastic resource for our community as well as six other counties. Staffed by professionals with a huge backing of volunteers, people are fed when hungry. The mission to reclaim "unsellable" food ensures that perfectly good food and supplies get to people in need. I feel great about supporting them.
This place is such a blessing to our community... They have a great staff. Everyone should go take a tour and volunteer to sort food....
