This "family owned" company is clearly being operated under unscrupulous hoodlums. I was quoted $40,000 for SECO to provide electrical power to my home. My neighbor who resides right next door to me in the exact same community and the exact same model house and who's FURTHER AWAY from the electrical source, was quoted $25,000. My builder told me that doesn't make sense. My neighbor should have been quoted $65,000 because he's further away. I need this company to be investigated and Criminally prosecuted

I strongly believe SECO energy is conducting it's business under the guise of fraud and requires a deep routed investigation into it's policies that charge different people much higher prices than next door neighbors living in identical homes in the exact same community right next door to one another. Is SECO regulated by the state? This is clear unequivocally fraud. Can this company be shut down on criminal charges? Are there actual unscrupulous hoodlums in the background running this scam? Who's really running SECO?

Had the most rude person reading my meter today. Asked she not drive in my yard as it was just sodded. She threatened me with a $1000 fine for impeding her way. I then called SECO and after being on hold 45 minutes was told someone would call back, still waiting. It funny how monopolies treat their customers like crap and still stay in business. Oh yea, it’s a monopoly.

No assistance to help people pay their bills. They have a pennies from heaven program that I believe is not legit there is no way to apply online. You are not able to speak to a rep because they are shutting power everywhere on everyone and you stay on hold all day with no one answering. My bill is wrong and I cannot reach anyone. They are not regulated by a different source. Their board of trustees that own the company does the regulation. WE NEED A FAIR COMPANY!!!

Rates up by 25% (per SECO). Reason- they hire greedy CONTRACTORS that jack up rates. Also was out of power during last hurricane for a week because greedy contractors went to Georgia and Carolinas (follow the money). SECO needs to hire their own workforce- not contract!!!
