My husband and I rented the Owls Nest cabin for two nights. Upon arrival, the entire front porch area was covered with stink bugs. We found that entering the cabin from the back door would be a better option. When we got into the cabin, there were many stink bugs inside as well. My husband tried to vacuum them up but there were just too many. There were several high up windows that we couldn't even reach, that were covered with the stink bugs. We stayed at The Owl's Nest. The cabin was nice. Take drinking water with you. As soon as we walked in the door, there was a very strong suphlur smell that never diminished.

We recently stayed in the Perch cabin a couple nights ago and it was fantastic!! This was a last minute booking but truly meant to be as we stayed with Alan’s TP’s before 3 years ago and loved the experience! We had no clue he had these cabins! He is very accommodating, helpful, and respectful! Glad we rented through him again and will continue! The Perch cabin was beautiful and the pictures did it no justice! My Husband and I brought our dogs and stayed here for a Christmas getaway. Alan was very accommodating, he came and plowed the driveway on Christmas morning! The cabin is extremely comfortable. Yes there was a slight odor from the water but that is expected with well water and it did not bother us one bit. Its scenic and beautiful and the kitchen has everything we needed to cook a variety of meals. I would recommend Owl’s nest for anyone looking for a rustic quiet getaway and we will be staying here again!!

This place is not as nice as the pictures. The bedding looked as though it had been there forever. Flat pillows, 1 night stand light in each bedroom. We stayed a couple nights with our daughter and I had to leave because there was a rotten egg smell coming from the water that was awful and made me sick. When you pay that much for a night I would think it would have been a lot nicer than it was. My daughter called the owner because the tv wasn’t working and he was very rude sounding. We stayed in the Owls Nest Cabin.
