While I was at work, my gf had her nurse call Sebastian County EMS to pick her up at the house and take her to the emergency room… The ambulance got to the house and the EMS techs told her that since she couldn’t move on her own, they couldn’t take her… this is totally unacceptable!! What happens if they respond to an accident and the individual cannot move? Do they just leave them on the side of the road? This was uncalled for, and unacceptable!!
People must realize. EMTs are ambulance drivers! Nothing else, they cannot work Life saving precedures !Paramedics can in cases save your life. Baby choking, heart attacks etc. For Gods sake park them at fire depts not the hospitals.Souhside they come from Mercy, and than drive get you, and drive back when all other states park at their fire depts?Someone needs to change that!!
