A year ago, I would have given Dr. Downey a 5-star review. Unfortunately, given recent changes to the clinic’s staffing and structure, I can no longer recommend this clinic. The staff and the other practitioner lied about drug “protocols” that don’t exist, as an apparent tactic to get more in-person visits. This was a pleasant doctors visit, lately doctors visits have been frustrating! Dr Downey actually looked at my pre-visit paperwork, discussed a diagnosis and plan for my care. He took into thought my being cash pay and adjusted my plan to accommodate. The cherry on top was the friendly office staff
Dr. Downey is absolutely amazing. I was extremely ill and dropped down to 96 lbs in a month. I was having panic attacks regularly and was nearly unable to continue working. I had gone to other medical offices and was only prescribed medications that did not help. Dr. Downey has been a bright light of support especially during the pandemic. He has given me new tools snd information to improve my health. He takes time to listen and I have appreciated the telemedicine appointments, being able to do some of the testing through mail in kits to specialty labs and feeling better overall. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to reduce inflammation and balance their hormones!
I cannot say enough positive things about the level of care this clinic and Dr. Downey provide. Three years ago, I was having issues getting pregnant. I visited another doctor who said I was perimenopausal and needed hormone therapy. Being that I was in my early thirties at the time, something about this diagnoses didn't feel right, so I went to Dr. Downey for a second opinion.
