Beware of Lunenburg’s Number One Con Artist — Seaweed Tours You’d think the good people of Lunenburg wouldn’t have a bad bone in their body — well, I was proven wrong. My family and I were scammed out of over $500 by Seaweed Tours. They never showed up and never contacted us. They still are dodging my calls and emails. New owners of this tour company. Purchased tickets online. Showed up at the bus on the wharf. Locals said the bus had not moved in months no plates on it. Had to scramble and phone the operator. Woman told us "the driver was sick". Did get our money back. They likely wanted us to go on the horse & buggy tour which they also own. Terrible experience.

They never showed up! Wish I could give 0 stars...No answer when called, no response to text or email. Do NOT use this company. Seems like there is a new owner. Terrible customer service. We paid for and booked tour the day before and it never happened. The bus never left the place it was parked. We were in the area 4 hours and it never moved. Since it was pre booked we can't even get our money back.

We were really looking forward to this tour and booked it well in advance.. about a month and a half ahead. We drove two hours to get there and planned our whole day around it, only to get an email 15 minutes before the start time saying it was cancelled. No explanation, no offer to rebook, and no one answered the phone when we tried to call. We did get a refund quickly, which we appreciated, but it still left us stranded with nothing to do and nowhere to go until hotel check-in hours later. Giving 2 stars because while we u... read more

I had a fully paid for tour for their 2 hours tour and at 22 minutes before the start of it, I received a message that it was cancelled. Zero explanations. One of the numbers on the website was to the previous owner who was delightful to speak with whilst trying to get answers. The current owner Mary, however, did not respond at all. Not picking up nor answering text messages as per her voice message. Zero accountability, I would caution others from booking with seaweed tours Lunenburg at present with this new owner Mary.
