Dr Banik refused to help me with ODSP even though she has known my struggles for years. She simply doesn’t care, and she ignored my psychologist. I am shocked and deeply concerned by the treatment received when calling this clinic. My son contacted them seeking help for what is believed to be an urgent medical issue. The receptionist refused to properly listen, took it upon herself to decide that his situation was “not urgent,” and then abruptly hung up on him. This is not just poor customer service it is completely inappropriate and potentially dangerous in a healthcare setting. The staff at this clinic is rude and very unprofessional. I wasn't aware that it was up to the "receptionists" to decide whether someone's medical condition is urgent or not based on a phone call. My partner recieved a call from this clinic as he was referred by his doctor and whoever called him decided over the phone that his referral wasn't urgent and then disconnected the call.
