I used to fight with these guys maybe 10 years ago. That one person no longer works there (and I’m also older and mellower ;-) and the experience the last few times I went in and had work done was really pleasant. From the front office to the guys (and gals) in the yard to the shop. Super helpful and it is nice that they are right off shilshole. Prices (and quality) is comparable to other yards in the region and the seasonal bottom paint sales are really good (just made use of it again).

When I first decided to buy a old boat, I bought it for the challenge of restoration and revival. Creating something that is a reflection of craftsmanship and one day will be all mine. Just picked my boat up from Seaview West. They did a re-build on the cockpit for access into the lazarette and area back aft. They did a first class job on the whole project. I now have access through a large, flush, water tight hatch in the cockpit sole to service the stuffing box & exhaust hoses & muffler. They also re-painted the topsides. Again, a first class job! Very happy with all they did!

The hoist operating crew are top notch, the rest not so much. Expensive, slow and poor quality work that they do not stand by. Sure seems like it’s not the yard it used to be.
