When I first decided to buy a old boat, I bought it for the challenge of restoration and revival. Creating something that is a reflection of craftsmanship and one day will be all mine. Just picked my boat up from Seaview West. They did a re-build on the cockpit for access into the lazarette and area back aft. They did a first class job on the whole project. I now have access through a large, flush, water tight hatch in the cockpit sole to service the stuffing box & exhaust hoses & muffler. They also re-painted the topsides. Again, a first class job! Very happy with all they did!

The hoist operating crew are top notch, the rest not so much. Expensive, slow and poor quality work that they do not stand by. Sure seems like it’s not the yard it used to be.

Just hauled out our boat for another bottom paint after Seaview Boatyard painted ours two years ago. Every spot under the water line that they did work on is much worse than before we got it to them. Some aspects of the hull were completely exposed to the metal. They did not do an integral job, had us in the yard much longer than they quoted and they highly over charged us. Do not go here, a huge rip off for low quality work!
