I cannot recommend Pauline enough. She was so kind and thoughtful. I made a very last minute decision to bustle my dress. The work was done fast and beautifully. She gave me tips and guidance and was just lovely.
This place is amazing! They managed to get a very tough stain out of my dress and the customer service was 10/10. Would highly recommend.
Seattle Wedding Dress Specialists are the BEST for vintage dress restoration and reconstruction. I had the honor of wearing my grandmothers 70 year old dress from the 1950s for my wedding. However, she never properly preserved or stored it so it had a big ugly stain in the front and the lace was extremely fragile from rotting over the years. Let me start by saying I went here for alterations consulting with Devon a couple of months ago and he was extremely professional, thoughtful, and kind. It turns out I didn’t need any alterations at all and he was honest about that, and even gave me more tips on how to bustle and keep my dress secure. Because of such amazing service that he didn’t even charge for, I wanted to come back to get my dress dry cleaned as a token of my support. I had an amazing experience at Seattle Wedding Dress Specialists. Pauline altered my dress to perfection - it fit like a glove on my wedding day and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Pauline was also very kind and attentive through the alteration process. She provided a very sweet “how to” lesson in walking down the aisle in my dress and shoes during my pickup appointment.
