Seattleites will loath me, but Ivar's clam chowder at the airport is my soul food every time I fly out. As for the airport itself, it's big, confusing, and it's unchanged since the 90s, but I like it.
Gone through a nice remodel. Live music throughout the terminal. Good restaurants and shops. Getting through security has improved greatly.
Has to have some of the coolest stores including sub-pop records where you can listen to records while you wait for a flight.
Smooth sailing
Had to transfer concourses by trains. It's kind of confusing but it's better than trying to walk so much.
Make use of the cell phone waiting lot so you don't get driven away by the traffic police.
Get ready to feel old if you used to love sub pop records.
Bathrooms on N concourse are insufficient and always crowded.
Do NOT go to Alaska Lodge for food. It's the worst food I've ever had and the service was extremely slow.
