Seattle Sailing Club is the FUN Place to Sail and Learn - since 1968! And we are nothing without our fleet of excellent sailboats moored right here on the Puget Sound. As one of the most active and vibrant ASA certification schools in the country, our experience teaching sailing is second to none. I took ASA 101 this week, in the wed/thurs group class with Graham. It was amazing! He was so patient and worked all of the lingo into our chats like butter! He made sure each of us felt confident, were interested in continuing, having fun, and would pass. Such a fun and inspiring class! Very very happy with how everything went. Could not recommend enough.

I took ASA 101 with Sofia and it was one of the worst learning experiences I’ve ever had. She showed up 30 minutes late both days, and once we were on the water, she constantly yelled at students and was verbally abusive. She clearly has anger issues and does not know how to manage pressure, which created a hostile and stressful environment for everyone. Booked this for a corporate team outing and it delivered in spades. The booking process was seamless and personalized. Our team is pretty competitive and want to be as hands on as possible. Our captains perfectly matched that energy on sailing day and were excellent teachers. Thank you Jennie, Somerset and Graham!!
SSC hosted my team's sailing offsite this past week and we had an awesome time! Their crew and team are extremely knowledgable and great teachers overall, and definitely left a bunch of us looking for more! Would recommend SSC for any team event!
