I have ordered many Orchids from Seattle Orchid. They have a wonderful selection, and are constantly getting in new plants. I check weekly. I have only had one minor issue, but nothing to complain about. I will continue to buy my orchids from Seattle Orchid because of selection, and prompted shipping! Also customer service is amazing. I had forgot to add a heat pack last winter, I sent an email and hours later they responded and added the heat pack. Was very relieved as I live in Minnesota.

I placed my order on 5/5. I arrived approximately 2 weeks later. The orchids were packed carefully, but the quality of the orchids shipped was not great. My "blooming" size Dendrobium Victoria Reginae was small and most of the leaves were bleached or yellowing. The Vanda, was also smaller than expected, although I paid to have it potted in a 6 " vanda basket, again not even close to blooming size, years away. I had order an online Dendro tangerinum ; their description was a 2inches pot for $18. 99 . I received a tiny little plant less than an index finger. Beware about these people . In case, Seattle Orchids don't know about there are other nice orchid sellers. You 're not the only orchids seller in the United States !

Asked them for an in stock recommendation. I ordered their recommended item for a gift. Two weeks later it did not show. I emailed, asked for a refund. No response. Four days later I emailed again. They seemed annoyed with me, offered no explanation why they did not ship. Got a full refund. Strange people.

I got 6 orchids online. Shipping cost is outrageous, but I was looking for fragrant species. Most of the items are not in bloom, which is fine, but the ones that have chocolate/vanilla fragrance came with the flowers. Most of the air roots are totally dry on all of the pants, the plants are weak and very small, and the flowers don't have any fragrance. I have been growing orchids for years now and I've never had such dry air roots on any of my plants. They told me I need to cut those away, as the plant does not need them. ... read more
