Dr. Chung is a pianist of unmatched skill and has a masterful ability to teach! It was an absolutely blast to get to work with her!
Dr. Chung is phenomenal! She's incredibly talented, patient, and kind. She is very respectful to all of her students, supporting them at all stages of their musical educations. Her technical ability has been cultivated through years of experience in the music industry, and she provides a wealth of knowledge that inspires her students. I've been fortunate enough to be mentored by Dr. Chung at Seattle University, and I know that I speak for all of her students and faculty when I say that she is very loved.
I met Dr. Chung last year in my freshman year of college. She is absolutely amazing! She is patient, kind, understanding and so helpful. I feel that I have learned so much just within one school year! She is such an inspiration and I am so very honored to be working with her again!

Erin has taught my 14 year old son piano for 4 years. He is a reluctant musician, but Erin has worked some magic with him! She is gentle and kind, and yet she teaches with a sense of humor, which makes the lesson fun. She always appreciates whatever effort my son has made, and he never feels judged. Erin combines boundless patience and encouragement with precision and depth of musical knowledge and technique. My children have been taking piano with her for five years, and they LOVE it. In addition to classical pieces, one kid now plays keyboard in a rock band and the other plays jazz. They practice without reminding, and play for themselves for fun and to relax. My home is filled with music.
My children have been taking music lessons from Erin Chung for five years, have learned a tremendous amount and enjoy the classes. The Erin is exceptional: internationally renowned musician but patient and kind with students. It is a pleasure to recommend Seattle Music House!
