I had my last check up today after having a home birth with my first baby and I was genuinely so sad to have my final check up with them because during our pregnancy journey they have really felt like family. Heather and her team are so supportive and amazing. They are very knowledgeable about the whole pregnancy and delivery process. They took me in when I was about 30 odd weeks. They helped me deliver my daughter Creation Divine Love Francis at my home on September 2nd 2018. They will forever have my service. My first child at home and I was soooo comfortable with trusting them.
Great personalized prenatal care with tons of detailed explanations, time for questions and conversation. We had a really tough delivery but the kindness and hands on support I received while in labor from my midwife team was everything I could have hoped for. When it turned out that we would have to go to the hospital the transfer was flawless and the follow up care has comforted me and continued to support my recovery. Midwives Rock!
After I was left without a midwife at 28 weeks pregnant I finally found Seattle Home Maternity Service. Traci was the first one I met and it felt so good being there! They quickly got me going with the glucose testing that I missed doing and started my appointments right away. This place is amazing! Everyone is so great and my family felt so comfortable here. The birth was perfect and fast and I'm so glad to have brought my daughter into this world at the SHMS birth center with Traci and Katie. Thank you!
Thank you SHMS for supporting & educating us as we prepared for a home birth. And thank you Traci & Tamary for joining us in the final hours to help deliver our baby. Your words, touch, and presence were perfect. There is nothing about my birth story that I would change. I am so very grateful for my pregnancy, labor, delivery, and baby girl. I had my fourth child at home. I wish I had my other children at home. Very nice, professional and welcoming midwives.
