We opted for two tours from Seattle Free Walking Tours, and both were entertaining, educational, and highly enjoyable! SEATTLE 101 Tour guide Joe provided an in-depth history of Seattle, with plenty of stops to showcase key points of interest. Joe was really personable, very funny, and offered a wealth of facts and info. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! THE MARKET EXPERIENCE TOUR Tour guide Curtis delivered a history and tour of Pike Place Market - and it is essential, because the place is huge. With so many twisty buildings, unexpected ... read more

Heard about this by staying at the Green Tortoise Hostel. I did the tour of Pike Place Market on a Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend, so it was PACKED. Curtis was a fabulous tour guide, kept us together, and made sure everyone could hear at each stopping point. It was so cool to hear about the history of the market and it definitely helped me wrap my head around all of the different parts of the market. I even got some fish and chips based on Curtis's recommendations and was not disappointed!

A super entertaining and interactive tour. It's very enjoyable, and Amalia does an incredible job. I can't think of a better way to get to know Seattle as soon as you arrive in the city than with this tour. 10 out of 10.

I went on the Seattle 101 Free Walking Tour today with Amalia.Everything about this tour was terrific!! Amalia had a wonderful personality and moved the group around with ease. She had a very clear speaking voice, with just the right volume so that everyone could hear and understand all of the history, architecture, anecdotes and recommendations that she gave us. I have been on many tours around the world and have not enjoyed any more than this one. If you have the time, take this tour!! You will not be sorry.
