I cannot recommend Dr. Steven Kavanaugh enough. We first saw him when my son was only one week old because we were struggling with a very shallow latch. I was worried we might need to move forward with a tongue-tie cut, but after working with Dr. Kavanaugh, we were able to avoid that entirely. He has a deeply reassuring presence — calm, confident, and incredibly gentle with newborns. His osteopathic work is subtle but powerful. My whole family has been coming to Dr Steve for over 25 years, ever since our daughter was an infant. He is very knowledgeable, gentle and effective with his osteopathic manipulations. We see him right after injuries or surgeries which quickens recovery time. We also come in for regular 4-6 month tune-ups which helps prevent re-injury. Currently, he’s treating my tinnitus and sinus issues using cranial osteopathy. We would highly recommend him to anyone, especially those looking for an alternative to chiropractic.
Dr Cavanaugh is a great Osteo. I saw him for years, and his work was helpful with some very challenging problems. Sadly rates at this practice have increased to the point where we need to look elsewhere. Over the course of the past five years a first appointment has skyrocketed from 160 to 440 USD. This is a clear choice, and I think its an unfortunate one. A lot of folks will no longer be able to access these services.
Dr. Stephen Cavanaugh went above and beyond to provide excellent care and knowledge to me and my son with autism. I would really recommend him to anyone thinking of receiving osteopathic service!
