Following several days of telephone calls, with different operators, I found it impossible to place an order with a live person. All questions were answered with "It's on the website." Even requesting assistance as an accommodation as a Physically Disabled American brought the same verbal results. So, website looks nice. However, don't call with any questions. T Just take your business elsewhere.

Bought a grinder on amazon from this seller, came in a used condition, contacted the seller immediately to report this and sent the pictures at their request to proof it. Was told that a replacement would be shipped out as soon as I drop off the package at FedEx, I did so and emailed the seller with a dropoff receipt to expedite the process, however they never reply till I reached out to them again days after, inquiring of its status and requested a faster shipping option. Unethical business practices from their eBay/online sales department. Canceling winning bids, claiming winners are not paying, etc.

Very rude staff, I was discussing price match with the sales rep and the agent hung up on me because I just asked them why they are refusing even though the sales Manage said she will price match the item. Will never buy from such business who are so rude to sell an item, image what will be their behavior if call back for support.

Much of the equipment in the espresso world is very complex. The brewing machines are a giant pluming machine and the grinders are precision machines. Some of the people with issues that have no trouble shooting skills have to expect to pay freight on a 60 pound machine to send it back. I have ordered and received many items from Seattle over the years and have been satisfied.

Seattle Coffee Gear isn't just a place for shopping. I knew nothing about brewing espresso at home before I found SCG. They have an extensive library of education materials, reviews, and item comparison that brought me to a working understanding of the terminology and process. Excellent service. I was amazed at how fast I received my order. I looked everywhere on how to keep my coffee in an air tight environment. I was reluctant on purchasing a "Foodsaver" type of product as it is too bulky and takes up too much counter space. Seattle Coffee Gear had the perfect solution: air tight containers, both small and large. I've purchased two, one to store the ground coffee and the other to store the coffee beans. They are a PERFECT solution. I highly recommend this company.

My wife and I bought a superautomatic espresso machine. SCG provided excellent service, maintenance tips, and even recommendations on espresso beans!I was impressed by their great service. Very nice physical store, great staff, and web prices can't be beat.
