I brought my daughter to this ER last night due to a breathing episode, and the experience was extremely disappointing. We used to believe that Seattle Children’s Hospital was the best children’s hospital in the area, but our experience clearly showed otherwise. Over the five hours we spent in the ER, all that was completed was an ECG test — for which we still haven’t received any results. The staff also failed to complete a blood test (they needed to redraw the sample, but by that point we refused). Each time we asked to sp... read more

If I could give zero stars, I would because something needs to be done to fix this. I've been waiting for 2 hours with my 17-month-old son who burned his hand, and there isn't even a single room available for us to call. Seriously! I can't believe this. What kind of hospital is this? Is this how you say you care??? We got in after 3.5 hours and doctors said he needed a dressing for the hand. Now I’m sitting and waiting for the nurse to come and it is been 30mins. Are you serious?? Please please don't ever come here dressing ... read more

My daughter is 11 months old, with a broken arm, We have been waiting in the lobby for 5 hours. They keep saying it will be soon. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, You are not even that busy. Do something! All the girls just watching videos on there phone instead of doing any work, what a disaster, Try harder.

Thank you guys for your professionalism! Everything was done quickly, precisely, before diagnosis all necessary tests were done, nothing “just in case (like antibiotics) were not prescribed. All the staff we met were attentive, polite, kind and well trained to communicate with kids, with both our (1 was 7 months old and 3yo toddler). All bad options were checked. We got x-ray, stomach ultrasounds, blood tests and swabs. I am impressed how serious they took our situation and all actions took my panic and concerns away. The be... read more

If I could give the ER zero stars, I would. This was the worst hospital experience I’ve ever had. The staff were cold and dismissive - completely opposite of how you’d expect children and parents in crisis to be treated. Our 5-year-old was crying in severe pain and vomiting for over 5 hours in the waiting room and no one seemed to care at all. At one point, they even brushed it off and said, “maybe it’s just strep throat.” Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this ER if you value compassionate and timely care for your child.
