The steak was impeccable and tender 9/10. The SOJ sauce didn't really have flavor nor did any of the food. I've been hearing about this place so I decided to see what the hype was about. My experience i rate SOJ a 7/10...All I can say is you try it and review for yourself. Me personally this is not a place I would really recommend.
Most of our food didn't have flavor. The rice was bland. Shrimp was too. The steak was okay with the mushrooms and the veggies were good.
We spent $40 on food. Picked up in the drive through. Got home to find the lids on a $8 chicken teriyaki bowl and side rice not even put on. Sauce and rice all over the place. The chicken was like a salt lick. They need to slow down and take care in the service provided.
The shrimp entrees with vegetables are absolutely delicious; however, I found the onions to be a bit overwhelming. I would prefer a different vegetable instead.
