Drove down late Frifay night for a short honeymoon. 2 tickets later I arrived at midnight. The receptionist graciously greeted us. The room is old but there are some new stuff like a big TV that I didn't use. The carpet seemed a little out dated. There is a huge tub that I did't use but recommend you do. It was clean. I'll say up front: Ruth and all the staff deserve 5 stars. The room was clean, well kept, and in working order. The location being so close to the beach, as well as the town center, was a big plus as well. But... I'll be honest, there were things I wasn't a huge fan of. First off, parking was a touch cramped and confusing. I was parked in the back lot and the next day a big truck was parked next to me. I managed to get out, but dang was it a close call! For being a 90-year-old building with history that brings the beach, ocean and small town vibes alive made for a great stay. The employees are happy, friendly and very knowledgable. They have items to bring to the beach, games to play, plenty of parking and good rates. Only had a small hiccup, but solved it with switching rooms which made it even more memorable. Love how close it is to the beach with great walks around the town for morning coffee and donuts. The rooms need updated, however that's the last of my worries when ... read more

We came for our family vacation and each family had a different room and we were able to bring our dog! They had everything we needed to go to the beach. Sand toys, extra towels, an outside area we played corn hole, while we waited for our family to be ready to walk to the beach and so so much more. They are kind and caring and the service is spectacular. They are not very far from the promenade and they are right by the seaside Broadway area and the carousel mall.
