Lousy shopping experience. I’ve worked in retail for many years and it’s so hard for me to support businesses with poor customer service.
Great local shop. Perfect for housewarming and hostess gifts and Rowayton stuff. And their go-cups are the best around for boating, picnicking and poolside. If you don’t see design you’d like, just ask and they can make them up for you.
Ever watch the BBC show "Doc Martin"? This tiny little shop on the 5 Mile River feels like it's right out of PortWenn. It's run by artist Joanne Gray, who sports an appropriate Cornish accent. She fills the shop with artful treasures and nautical charm. Tucked alongside the Historical Society in Rowayton's Pinkney Park, this magical place make you feel cozy and comfortable just browsing around - and Joanne always has a suggestion for a great gift or accessory.
Owner stayed open past hours so I could grab a few hostess gifts. Nicely stocked shop.
