This is a really lovely place to experience Mount Desert Island from.
We were in Cottage 3, facing the water, the view was spectacular! The owners are so nice and helpful. I would return here 100%. You feel so far from everything, bit it is just minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia national Park.
We came again with our grandchildren to this wonderful place. We have been coming for 30 years and it never disappoints. The location is beautiful and the cottages very well maintained. We are getting ready to book our stay for next year. Carroll is a great host.
Visiting Acadia National Park? Stay at the Seaside Cottages. The small group of cottages is a gem tucked in the west side of Mt Desert Island. The area is peaceful, private, and has a large lawn and gravel beach area. The owner, Carroll Leland, grew up on the island and is clearly passionate about everything he's put into the cottages.
