Visiting Acadia National Park? Stay at the Seaside Cottages. The small group of cottages is a gem tucked in the west side of Mt Desert Island. The area is peaceful, private, and has a large lawn and gravel beach area. The owner, Carroll Leland, grew up on the island and is clearly passionate about everything he's put into the cottages. So Pretty. So Nice. This is an absolutely lovely location. Our cottage was clean and comfortable. a full size fridge and nice kitchen. two good sized bedrooms. big living room and eating area. the deck was big enough and then there was the common lawn and beach. all very nice. We stayed three days. The bay is tidal. The difference between high and low tide is huge... an very entertaining. We loved this place and hope to visit again. Eagles, loons, seals, and more..

What an awesome place to stay while visiting Acadia National Park! The cottage was well maintained, the owner, Carroll, very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. The area is so peaceful, quiet, and private compared to the hub bub of Bar Harbor. Five stars is not enough!

If you are going to have a business magnet on your car you should probably learn how to drive. Nearly took me out getting off the highway because you cut across two lanes with no blinker. Then pulled into sams with no blinker. You are an embarrassment to your business.
