Ian was extremely helpful on a not straight forward install converting a proprietary factory 'premium' sound system into a real sound system. Up front and transparent about costs and equipment. Ive been to all the car stereo places in the area over my decades in Santa Barbara and had varying degrees of success. I will definitely go back to Ian for any car stereo work and absolutely recommend him to friends and family.
Hands down best place for car audio and electronics in Santa Barbara. I’ve had a few projects done by Seaside Car Stereo, the owner Ian is honest, knowledgeable, and just a down to earth great guy. I had a bad experience at another shop in town and am glad I found this place. I plan on continuing to have work done by Seaside Car Stereo in the future. He did not disappoint with his excellent customer service, professional knowledge and craftsmanship. Had a Sony head unit and brand new speakers installed in my JDM Altezza. Despite a few unexpected hiccups in the car’s original layout, Ian was very communicative and didn’t leave me with any surprises. He provided the best value for the work and was crystal clear with every bit of work he did. The final product was very clean, sounded great and was delivered with no time wasted. Cannot recommend Seaside Car Stereo enough.
Ian is my go-to guy in town for any stereo needs. If you have a complex job, he’s the guy that you can trust to do the right work or steer you in the right direction. And his dog is awesome!
