This is a terrible company/business to buy anything from!! I purchased supposedly a extra firm king size mattress and that is not what I got. The mattress has lost what firmness it had, it seems as though I am sleeping on a FOAM MEMORY mattress. When lying on my back the right side of the mattress has shifted and I have to sleep over half way the bed as not t slide out of the bed. I Purchased a bed from the Charlotte ******** and had a Lil problem with it, but was able to get it resolved in a few days with no problems at all.I like the store and will definitely shop again.

My wife and I purchased a "new" refrigerator from their ******************* store near ******. I say "new" because when the fridge finally made it to our house, it was dented. The delivery person stated that I could refuse delivery or accept it and contact the store and they would either arrange for a refund, exchange, or a discount off the original price. i bought a refrigerator at this business located in ******, **, 4.5 days after delivery it is no longer operational and i have a refrigerator and freezer full of spoiled food. i did decline the store warranty when i bought his item. manufacture warranty is supposed to be good for 1 year. i did not expect that the item would fail to operate properly in less than five days and based on previous reviews (which i have now read and wished i had read prior) i am not the only consumer victim of their sales practices. buyers beware ... read more

I was delivered defective items that should have been covered by a warranty. When I talked to the store manager I was told to file a warranty claim online. There was conflicting information from what he said and what was available to choose so I drove 1 hr away to get assistance from the manager and he was condescending and rude. I eventually got ahold of another store manager which let the district manager know the situation and told me he would call the store in ***** ** to speak with the manager giving me issues. American Freight store visit was a GREAT EXPERIENCE and the customer service from ***************** at the ********************* Store in ********** ** was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and great customer service. I was very satisfied and will definitely refer my friends and family to give the store a visit. I wish I can give them zero stars. The customer service was unprofessional, and the sales person was very rude after me asking about a price of a mattress. The workers wasnt there to load my items so we had too. The sales person didnt add my military discount even after showing my I.D. The boxes that the items came in were ruined and only to find out the dresser was damaged and the handles to it was wrong. Does not even deserve 1 star, bought a BR suite for my grandson, within a week the box spring broke, the rails dont fit the headboard, paint is peeling off dresser, dresser drawers are broken so he cant even use all the drawers, sleeping on a mattress because the box spring broke. I have called the company about every other day, all they say is we understand, got warranty still nothing! Waste of ************* Dont even deserve 1 star. Bought a dining set online Friday evening. Got a confirmation in email literally saying: Your Order# xxxzz placed on xxxx is confirmed.HERE'S WHAT'S NEXT:Store Pickup items:Your items are available for pick-up anytime during normal business hours.Drove 3 hours the next day, to pick up the set.
