Don't ever go here. – Recently purchased new tires from Sears. Initially, everything seemed fine. On-sale tires, quick to put on. Within 12 hours of the new tires being placed, I had a flat. AAA changed flat, and immediately, we took the car back to Sears (on a Saturday). First, we were told the stem valve was loose. 4 hours later, we were told the tire was manufactered wrong, and a new tire would be in on Monday. Come Monday afternoon, after Sears had the car for 6 hours, we were called and told that there was a puncture in... read more

Sears Auto Center good service They have always performed good work for me. I've had tires replaced and other work done. Some people who write these reviews are just not happy about anything and would complain if they won the lottery. Jarrad especially has been patient and professional and courteous whenver I've dealt with him. I'm having some tires put on my gf's car there later today.

Sears is horrible This place is horrible. The customer service is horrible and the entire experience was mediocre at best. They definitely act like they know their doors will stay open no matter what, so they make no effort to make sure anyone is satisfied with their purchase. They aren't even knowledgable about tires. They relied on the cardboard signs to educate me on the tires. They have signs that say something like, Good, Better or Best. And that was the extent of their tire knowledge. If they were giving away free tire... read more

They put 10 quarts of oil in my engine. It holds 5. As a result, oil was sucked into the intake and fouled the spark plugs. The ordeal was not as simple as I've listed above. The car was running rough, but only under certain conditions, but was not giving off any error codes. Suffice is to say it took a while to narrow down the cause of the problem. The manager did refund the cost of the oil change -- the warranty covered the rest of the damage and I would encourage hyundai to go after this business to recover the cost of re... read more

My son (he doesn't know anything about car maintenance I will say & doesn't know how crooked some auto shops are) took his car in because the check engine light came on. He ended up paying $200.00 for brake pads & fluid he didn't need - a total con & sales job. The brake fluid had been replaced during the last year during maintenance. When he called me and told me he was having brake work done I told him to get the old pads - did not need replacement. Do not go anywhere near this place unless you already know what the proble... read more

Stay the hell away from here – Well, the review BEWARE wrote before is the same thing I have to say - wrong (either incompetent or crooked) diagnosis and you leave there with the same problem you had coming in. My son (he doesn't know anything about car maintenance I will say & doesn't know how crooked some auto shops are) took his car in because the check engine light came on. He ended up paying $200.00 for brake pads & fluid he didn't need - a total con & sales job. The brake fluid had been replaced during the last year du... read more

Poor service, faulty part, long wait times. – I recently went into sears auto center for an oil change and headlight replacement. I was helped by someone who checked my car in and gave me a price estimate for the two service requests. He gave me a time estimate of 30 to 45 minutes but assured me that he would call me as soon as the work was done as I had other errands to run that afternoon. About 20 minutes later a service representative called to tell me that I did not have any coolant in my car and that I needed new wiper ... read more

BEWARE – I stopped by Sears to get an oil change because I had a gift card (which I got because I purchased $600 worth of new tires at Sears weeks earlier). A few days later I noticed an oil leak, so I went back to the shop. They took my car in right away and said - "this is the car with the stripped out oil plug from last week". I said no one told me about it! The manger showed me the comment section on their system where it said "oil drain PLUG is bad - needs replacing very soon". Then the manager said... "actually its you... read more
