RecommendedThank you guys so much! Your salesperson asked if my tires were directional, explained accurately that directional and non-directional tires should not be mixed and that ideally brands of directional tires should match, and turned away my business because he didn't carry what I needed and determined my family's safety was more important than a sale. You are the only shop in town that asked about the directional issue before quoting me.
Giving this place 3 stars just because of what happened. 1 star for the miscue and 5 stars for them finding the problem 2 weeks later. On March 9th I had front brakes installed. This afternoon on my way to Charleston SC, I heard 2 loud bangs from the front end. So, turned right around and went back to Sears and the brakes started grinding so bad. Technician CUT my tire sidewall and CHIPPED MY WHEEL. I hand washed car before going there. So, no question who did it. Amy the Manager states "Not possible her techs did it" Sears Auto Center has eliminated ALL Human Error....what a joke. Refused to replace my NEW Tire. I have to file a Claim against their insurance. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. They will not fix their mistakes....Incompetent Dishonest Unprofessional. I waited 2 Hours for an Oil Change. No kidding!
Told us today that our battery was fine. We are stranded on the side of the interstate in Florida with a dead battery (alternator verified functioning). You guys suck.
