The technicians who came for 3 visits were good. However, the scheduling system was a problem. We were rescheduled numerous times, and it was nearly impossible to talk to a person. We cleared our schedule for 2 days in a row when no one came for the appointments that sears scheduled for us. Then we had to be available for a 3rd day. It was very inconvenient, requiring a family member to leave work to meet the technician. Technician was fine, he told me part needed (controller board) was no longer available through sears. I had told them model number of appliance and I thought the controller board was the issue. Why he couldn’t look up the p/n before he came is beyond me and now they want the payment which was totally wasted money.
Very punctual, courteous, and resolved the dishwasher problem.
Nicholas did a great job repairing our washing machine, and we really appreciated his expertise and professionalism. However, the overall experience with Sears Appliance Repair was disappointing. The time between the initial visit (February 18, 2025) when the part was ordered and the actual repair (March 18, 2025) was far too long. Fortunately, our washing machine was still functional, but if it hadn’t been, waiting an entire month would have been a major inconvenience.
