I understood the diagnostic fee of $129. He removed the back of the freezer to show me the fan was not blowing, and I asked him to change the water filter why he was there and I was paying the $129. Told me it was cost $689 to replace the part. I looked up the part, it is under $20. Since I did not want him to order it for me, I was still charged $50 over the diagnostic fee for him to diagnose it. I am unhappy with that extra charge. He seemed like a nice person. I assume he is only doing what Sears is making him do.
Bret was professional, speedy, and effective, and he taught me some imoportant things about my machines.
