Sears Home Services was assigned to my claim under Choice Home Warranty. The technician arrived but refused to discuss the reason for the service request until the home warranty coverage fee was paid. He came unprepared and didn't know why the services were requested. He did not fix the problem and submitted a diagnosis that did not take into consideration the circumstances and backstory of the problem. Had to fix an electric stove top . The technician visit was paid and scheduled 2 weeks out . We were told to get a part which we ordered. The technician visit was 2 weeks out for repair The technician could not fix the stove in fact the stove which was working but could not be regulated completely stopped working. We were charged $421 . Took us 5 months to get a refund after many many hours on the phone . Everytime we called it took us over an hour to get the right person who could possibly help us .
