$129, they already knew it was the lid lock which I looked up on that serial and model number before they came out and then to tell me it cost $800 +'to fix it, are you serious Maytag? I also see through others online that a lot of lid lock problems with this too load washer. This washer is only a year old. This is crazy. Why would I pay over $800 to fix it and I will never buy another Maytag product.

I purchased the part and couldn’t get it connected, he used my part, (150.00) and charges 300.00 in labor. I could have purchased a new stove. He was very professional and nice.

The technician was great, but the Sears Repair system is all AI. You can’t talk to a human being. The AI system scheduled an appt for a Friday. When Friday got here, AI said the technician had to re-schedule. So a new appt was scheduled for the following Friday. When the following Friday got here, again AI said the technician had to re-schedule. So a new appt was scheduled for the following Tuesday. The technician finally arrived on that Tuesday.
