I have a warranty agreement on my furnace, so I had the Sears Home Services come to do a routine maintainence check. I bought the furnace 8 years ago, and am selling the house next year, and wanted to make sure everything was ok with the furnace.
I was extremely disappointed with this visit, but not because of the repairman. My dryer - less than 3 months old! - was not fully drying a load of clothes, despite me varying the size of the load, switching to different cycles. Before arriving at my house the repairman called and suggested that this is often a problem with the venting, and gave me a way to check myself before he came and I incurred a service charge.
