Only came on Monday to collect a payment as the Sears system failed to work for a different tech on Saturday.We offered to write a check but they couldn’t accept it. According to the tech’s supervisor there was a nationwide problem with the payment system. We were told they’d email us an invoice so we could pay it.Why they sent another tech to collect a payment was ridiculous. It was their problem not ours. Juan the Technician showed up on time and replaced our refrigerator door quickly!
The actual repair was good. The technician was nice and did a good job. The repair however was double the cost of nearly every other repair place. $420 to fix a dryer belt pulley?! I chose them to do the repair because I had planned to purchase a new washer and dryer soon from them. After realizing how ridiculous they charge for repairs I will be making my purchase elsewhere.
