I've always had good service with Sears repair and maintenance services. The techs that responded were friendly and informative. They took their time, preformed the maintenance checks and told me if anything was wrong.
The Sears service techs are always very thorough. My Samsung dryer had stopped heating up due to a clogged vent. I had cleaned the vent, but the dryer still didn't work. The Sears Tech found there had been a small fire inside the dryer. He had the parts on his truck to make the repair. In taking the machine apart to thoroughly clean and vac the insides, he discovered another problem, which he also fixed immediately. In year 4 1/2 of ownership of a top of the line Samsung front-end loading machine, during the annual checkup, technician found $1,200-worth of repairs required. Sears chose to offer us $750 towards a new/replacement machine. This is the second time this has happened. In my mind, at least as far as washers and other appliances are concerned, Sears earned our loyalty. We a dryer from them 5 years ago and just purchased a natural gas model along with this new washer. Come refrigerator time, they'll earn our business again also.
Most awesome repair work and great recommendations while the person was here !!! He was explaining to me what exactly happened to the dryer as well as what else was wrong with it and suggested things i should get done soon. Also with the washer. He was explaining to me different and beter modern day proceedures and equipment Sears was offering at a great deal. He was so kindly technicle I went ahead and purchased the entire package deal to be sure things were working right !! Best service ever !!!
