I scheduled a dish washer maintaining and cleaning service, and when I scheduled it, I was told it was just a $100. Today, the guy came to home and did the exact work (no new parts installed, no fixing anything), but he charged me $140. I called Sears Home Service customer service, and was transferred to 3 people before one lady talking to me. I made s as n appointment that was over two weeks out on my close washer. The technician was to arrive between 8:00am and 5:00pm. The technician sent a text giving a late afternoon arrival. The technician never showed up. We I called the office the next day they could only give me a new appointment 1 month out. Their response was unacceptable. I should have been put on the first visit the day after the scheduled day. I find their attitude unprofessional.

This has been, hands-down, the worst customer service of my life. We have been without a dryer for five months, and after at least 8 contacts with customer service, they still don't even have my first name right in their files. They have rescheduled our appointments multiple times with no explanation or apology. We take days off work to be there during their four-hour window only to be told with short notice that the appointment is cancelled. They overcharge ridiculously. Do not use them under any circumstances.
