Kenmore Elite Energy Star fraud for LG fridges – I bought a Kenmore Elite fridge in 2007, an Energy Star appliance built by LG. Later I got a letter from LG, it turns out they got their Energy Star rating pulled because of fraud, that the fridge uses way more electricity than that. So they came out and replaced a circuit board saying it would use less power now. I found out later from the Sears repair guy, that the new board turns off the defrost heaters (thus using less power, at least at first). This fridge freezes food in... read more
FIND ANOTHER OPTOMETRIST! – I was initially told my exam would be around $60. When I added a contact prescription, it immediately went up to close to $200. Upon receiving my prescription for glasses, I immediately purchased frames at Costco as they were nicer than Sears' frames and were WAY more economical. Poor service/poor customer service – I purchased 4 Michelin tires from your auto motive dept. here in Modesto Ca. Vintage Faire Mall. I thought I was getting a deal they were about $150. Less than a local dealer plus it included alignment. My new tires were installed and the alignment was also done. I was handed a print out of the alignment results I put them in my glove box and drove away very satisfied with my purchase.
