I recently took in a rim and tire from my car to have the tire repaired. Just a few thousand miles previously I purchased a set of 4 Michelin tires along with Sear’s road hazard warranty. My tire had a nail in it, so I put on the spare and took the isolated rim and tire into the Albany, OR Sears' automotive department. The checkout associate was great. I have no complaint there. This place is terrible. They should be called TIRE center, not auto. I called ahead and asked if they could look at my car because of a whining noise, she said absolutely, sounds like a belt issue, bring it in. I bring it in and ask them to look into the whining and to potentially fix a leaking tire and head off to the mall awaiting a phone call. Great customer service! – Dropped by the Sears Repair Center on 104th Avenue today hoping they could quickly repair my 5 year old vacuum. Showed them the problem and the gentleman at the counter informed me the service fee would be $95. Then he suggested I just buy the part ($21) and showed me how to fix it myself.
