Refrigerator was loud sears troubleshot, ordered parts and installed them! Completely quiet now! They always came as scheduled!
Repairman arrived on time and repaired my stove in about 15 minutes. My repair was easy. One of the burners were not working. He took a tool and cleaned it out. I know simple, but it meant a lot to me. I have a warranty so I was told by the salesman to use it and I did. I would recommend anyone with their warranty to use it!
The technician was timely, he was competent, he was friendly and since the repairs took less time than anticipated, he offered to do some service work that was covered by my warranty. As far as home repairs go, this went as well as possible.
I gave the Repair man a single star because he showed up...that's it!!! Otherwise a useless waste of gas and my time off work. On 12/27 he found the water line in my GE refrigerator frozen, did not know how to repair but suggested an untidy option...very unprofessional. I called Sears 2 days later and the repair man had not called in his job (not surprised). I am still waiting for a "real" repairman and have a 01/07/2016 appointment. Did You know that some front loading washers have a FOAM VENT? Neither did my service repair man!!! The foam vent leaks water and foam out the back of the machine if too much or the wrong soap is used. I learned this myself after the hour long service call, doing research myself. The service man told me it was ONE single hair dog hair in the door gasket causing the leak ... WTF!
After repairman left the house, I called Sears to tell them the ice maker was not making ice. They said they would get in touch with repairman and have him come back to the house. Repairman did call us to see what the problem was but never returned. Called Sears on 10/15/15 and have another appt on 10/23/15. Another ice maker has been ordered. It has been over a year and this refrigerator ice maker is not working. The protection agreement dollar amount is close to $2,000.00. What does it take to figure out that we need a rep... read more
